Re: "Only hope for Pakistan is a Military takeover with Musharaf re- appearing...." That is ABSOLUTELY the worst possible suggestion for Pakistan. Military Dictatorships (in Pakistan, in Iran, etc.), which stymie legitimate Democratic expressions, are exactly what causes populist opposition to become radicalized and rally-round the most extreme of elements. Such a prescription (more Dictatorship) would only result in WORSE outcomes when, in fact, what we are beginning to see now is glimmers of hope that the majority of Pakistanis are finally moving to oppose the radical fundamentalist Taleban, and Pakistan's 'military/intelligence government sector' will FINALLY end their long support for the radicals. You would go back to the exact same failed policies of the past (which created these problems) right when we are on the verge of making substantial progress.
