I'm actually not.

I do have a problem with public service positions being held by people who insist on clinging to jobs they no longer can perform.

Judges and politicians fall into that category.

If they want to go give speeches for a fee or work at a university as adjunct faculty, more power to 'em.

But they don't belong in positions where they are foisted upon the general public if they can't do the work.
