Maxwell, the good side to Asian currency devaluations, from the point of view of IDT (Centaur), but equally applicable to AMD and NSM:

Maxwell,

It is good to hear from you again.

The question, of course, is when the market is going to recover, tomorrow, day after, 1 month from now, half a year, one year, or five? At this point, I am very tempted to exercise my margin power, but the bad memory 10 years ago still haunts me, even after a few cans of beer.

Any comments on how soon the market is going to recover? I have been very busy with something else in the past few days. What caused this catastrophic event anyway?

John.

I agree that AMD is probably near its bottom, and I was interested in picking up some shares; however, this recent market crash has created some real bargains. Look at blue chips DuPont (DD) and General Electric (GE). Real values! Another gem out there is The Learning
Company (TLC) just upgraded from neutal to strong buy by Piper-Jaffrey.
Good Luck!
