RE: Tomorrow a big up day? ***OFF TOPIC***

be a big 'up' day. <<

I think you're probably right, but you never know. Sentiment seems to have turned on a dime here, and the DOW closed (early) on a down note. We might see more selling before it turns around. I do think that DOW 7000 will be a very strong support, and would not be surprised to see the rebound start from there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see new highs on the DOW (8300+) in three to five weeks.

Andre: I agree. Tomorrow sees a strong rally. ( the wild card is
the action of the foreign markets.) If not, I feel sure that Alan
Greenspan will have encouraging remarks to make in his test-
imony on Wed. Hopefully, the wage report due out tomorrow will
be benign; if so, a strong rally should take place. How long it will
last??????? Abby Joseph Cohen said today that this is a market event, not an economic one, nor political. Fundamentals are just the
same as they were when we were at 8300. This market will be
back, and soon.
Cheers and luck to all,
Jack Gibson
PS BORL held up quite well; lost some 6%. Many stocks lost
10, 12, 15 %.
