Centurion Minerals Declines Peruvian Property Option

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2009) - Centurion Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: CTN.V) ("Centurion" or "the Company") announces that it has notified Duran Ventures that it will not proceed with the Corongo, Peru property option as outlined in a news release dated March 12, 2009. The Company is currently reviewing additional projects of merit to add to its exploration and development portfolio.

Centurion has completed its first phase exploration program on the Copper Prince, Ontario property which included line-cutting, mapping, a geophysical survey, and channel sampling; the results of which will be released as soon as received and interpreted.
