Actually, he has a point. Technology does allow for a more efficient way to do things. What he neglects to address is that such changes take time. The transition time means lots of people will suffer or even die. While it may be the best over the long run, lots of people could die. And that is where you two part ways. For i-node, any one beyond his immediate circle is an abstract. You take a wider view.

This is a fundamental difference.
