Psalm 46:9 He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.The bow he breaks apart and does cut the spear in pieces; The wagons he burns in the fire. Sounds like God approves the military? He may love all his creation but not what they do. Isaiah 2:4 And He will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore. Looks to me that God is against war. "Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth." Again.....if you pray for Gods government to rule on earth then you cannot take the side of any mans government, unless of course you really think that God is in favor of certain governments like so many falsely imagine
