Tim;

Then why do you support extending the worst part of the bad government over the past 8 years, the explosion of spending and deficits.

I hate the explosion of debt. I am a fiscal conservative and that was one of my big complaints against Bush - especially on the cost of the Iraq war. .......But what the Bush administration also gave us is an economy in free fall. We have a choice now; let our streets fill up with unemployed people and allllllllllll the social spendings that go with that, or we can put people to work and get something in return.

Is it better to pay a man unemployment and pay him to be reeducated and give him food stamps and alllllllllll the other social programs he will be elligable for if he is not working or is it better to fix a bridge or build a school.

Sadly we don't have a choice to go back to the false good time. We are stuck with reality of today we must play the cards we are dealt even if they stink.
