It seems Obama's remarks on several occasions have added to the instability in Pakistan. That is what happens when an American President is truly arrogant. ;^)

Re: "When is your hero going to get us out of our quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan?"

Eh??????????

(Have you been out of the country or something, Bill? Missed all the news for some months now?)

The drawdown in Iraq is right on schedule (as announced), and the Iraq government just two days ago reconfirmed that there will be no delays in the US forces moving out of the cities (the first stage....)

While General Petraeus is now in charge of the 'AfPak' front, and implementing a revamped version of the 'surge' concept employed lately in Iraq.

(I could also note that the Pakistani public finally seems top be waking up to the existential threat that fundamentalist extremists pose to the nation of Pakistan, and to Democratic institutions and ideals that the over-whelming majority of their citizens desire... so progress - in a strategic sense - seems to have been advanced there as well.... There is no solution in Afghanistan without a solution across the porous border in Pakistan as well. The situation is an indivisible whole.)
