I know a lot of people that have them and love them. I used one in my friend's new car when we drove to Whistler last yr. It was very user friendly.

I'm just not familiar with the technology behind the gadget.

Simple explanation. Just making sure that every census taker actually visits the house they are surveying instead of fudging data. Capture data entry with gps coordinates.
