His statement was a criticism of you and your ilk. It would have been perfectly clear to anyone not reading challenged. I will break it down for you. When someone disagrees with your view point on something, you call their view point a lie. "if you have a different view its a lie..." However, If you disagree with someone else's view point, you don't call your disagreement a lie, you call it an opinion. "...if they differ...its an opinion.." If that didn't clear it up for you, check with your remedial reading teacher.
