I am an investor and have to admit that I have very limited knowledge in the technical aspects of Qualcomm products, therefore I never posted any opinion of the intricacies of Qualcomm IPR or chips.

From the investment standpoint, QCOM has performed much better than Motorola since the peak of August 14, 2008.

Between August 14, 2008 and as of the closing bell of May 6, 2009, Qualcomm stock lost 23% while Motorolla lost 41%. While I still own QCOM stocks, I have no holdings in MOT.
