Three years from now, Snapdragon and LTE multi-mode should provide opportunistic growth engines.

LTE provides a nice way for Q to maintain their lock on the CDMA portion of the chipset market. However, I dont think we'll see widespread rollout among the WCDMA carriers until the middle of the next decade. There is going to be plenty of time for the various vendors to get up to speed with respect to their LTE silicon.

As I said, I do agree about the possibilities for Snapdragon. It certainly isnt a slam dunk though. It has been 3 years since they first announced the chip and I am still waiting for some firm specs for a netbook or MID based on the chip. I cant wait to see some head to head performance reviews with the Atom processor....that would alleviate at least some of the questions regarding Snapdragon. To an extent, the other questions are outside Q's control....they need Google to really deliver with the Android OS.
