It sounds to me as if the huge reserves being established in the tight shales are going to supply all the gas we need in the united States for a long time. That's a disaster for my Canadian gassy trusts but a boon for tar sands that can hardly get enough of the stuff, both to extract the goop and the hydrogenate it into lighter fractions.
