Does Hawaii have an "American Day", or a England Day, or a French Day, or an Australian Day, etc? Or is it just religions that are to have their day...? If Islam has a day, then every other major religion should have their day too, with others than the "big 8" as an "all other religions" day.... For the same reason, I am totally opposed to having hyphens in a nationality....i.e. Black-American, African-American, French-American, English-American, White-American, Mexican-American...etc etc etc. How many generations does one have to be in a country if they are Naturalized, before they are Citizens of their Country????? Last night, my sister said something about our current President being an African American, and I asked her when the last time was that she saw a White American call themselves that? Or when was the last time she heard of a White Congressional Caucus, to go with the Black Congressional Caucus, and all the etc's I could think of.... She was distressed about it because she hadn't thought about that before...
