the Chinese construction company is prepared to erect the building whether or not it becomes the American pavilion; without U.S funds, it could be used for something else.

One option under consideration, according to reports from China, is to let Kentucky Fried Chicken use the ($61 million) building for fast-food sales.

I'm still waiting for those USA food riots. ;)

Meanwhile they've had a splendid new riot in Shishou, China. Those folks sure did a great job driving back such a large contingent of riot police, despite all their fancy cop equipment. If rioting ever becomes an Olympic sport, the Chinese will give the Iranians some stiff competition for the gold! :0)
