The public's perception will now be further molded
by Rubin's seemingly perfunctory and unconvincing
sound bites on cable and business news tonight. What
planet has he been on?

While I was waiting for the Treas.Sec.'s press statement
I channel surfed Fox, CNN, and CNBC. CNBC had by far the
most accurate portrayal of today's activity and their
most credible analysts were saying "more selling". :^(
Moreover, CNBC said "stayed tuned for our 8:00 coverage
of the Hong Kong market open" That'll be comforting.<puke>
I thought there was a restriction to the amount of violence
one could broadcast on TV.

I'm becoming flippant because one is going to need a sense
of humor over the next few weeks. I hope it isn't viewed as
at others' expense. The real sad part is that I am now
even more bearish....hopefully my fears will become unfounded.

Good luck all. <sigh>
