Yes. You got it right. I think it is ridiculous that world stock markets, and the U.S. stock market in particular, plunges 7+% in reaction to events of relatively minor global importance.

I don't think the U.S. economy is so fragile that it depends upon a "near perfect" global economy. I think people here were looking for an excuse to justify a correction, not that what happened justified a correction of this magnitude.

Just my opinion. Obviously you disagree. That's OK.
