Gates may be a genius, but no maverick. Garden variety ruthless businessman from my point of view. There have been many of them in history. Anyway, MSFT will be history themselves soon. At least as we know them. I predict company is broken up by DOJ into OS and applications divisions. Should have been done long ago.>> How you could accuse anyone of being assinine while promoting the assumption that the DOJ has the sense to do anything that requires even a smidgen of constructive thought is beyond the range of even warped logic. That is about the same as saying that breaking up Microsoft will make a damn bit of difference. Any one with common sense knows that all you will have is a myriad of divisions to beat the snot out of Apple and it's rivals rather than just one. Maverick genius? Bob Dylan? John Lennon? You truly must be kidding.
