Oh bull. What allowed the budget to balance under Clinton? The two important things were a small tax hike (instead of the perennial tax decrease) and a drop in military spending. You really want to look at sane people in the eye and say that the balanced budget from more revenue (tax hike) and decrease in military spending was the result of republicans decisions?

Bush tried the opposite, more military spending and a tax decrease. How did that work out for balancing the budget?
