I think the Chinese aught to recycle their $ by just buying most of WS, so at least all the bailout money inflating the $ will go to them as well.

JQP, be careful.. the government will not let them fail. that's worth a lot compared to the rest of the free market. the government is about to remove $100s of billions of their worst assets... even the crappiest money manager on wall street looks great when he can ditch all his losers and keep his winners.

the banks are a rigged gamed. the rest of the market, however, is not rigged to such a high degree.
