Nah... the goal of a chapter 11 is to RESTRUCTURE the business so as to CREATE a VIABLE, ongoing concern.

These actions are fully consistent with that goal. And legal. (And 'normal'.)

If the filing was for a LIQUIDATION, then there would be no need for any further funding at all... and everything would just be sold as scrap metal for (at best) a few pennies on the Dollar.

But, in chapter 11, the OVER-ARCHING GOAL (above all other considerations) if to restructure so that a VIABLE BUSINESS emerges out the other side.
