There is hardly a view worth holding that isn't "extreme" to someone. This is a clear generalization...elections are won or lost by small margins...generalizations don't explain the outcome. Yet I wonder if he thinks he's only pissing off Rush and his "dittoheads," because his statement that Americans want more government is going to piss off those who fear government is already doing too much.
