A Google spokeswoman told the Journal Android "was designed from the beginning" to be usable in "netbook-style devices."

Dell has studied the use of Android for netbooks as well as pocket-sized computers sometimes called MIDs, for mobile Internet devices, the Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

A Hewlett-Packard(HPQ Quote) executive said earlier this year that his company was studying the use of Android on some netbooks.

Robert, I use mostly chrome and safari (for PC). Chrome is superfast but no auto fill of my email addresses that I have priviously used in chrome. I thought maybe I dont know how to use it but I found out it's still missing that for autofilling of email addresses.
