No it wasn't exactly what CJ said. He said it was 'announced' which on face value didn't have the ring of truth to it. So, he was challenged. He could have revised his view point and said ... 'it's common sense that they will do this, there is no other scenario even being considered, or it stands to reason that this will be their strategy.'


Sorry but I see you as nitpicking. It has been announced that Rs will fight any nominee Obama puts up. You're looking for a press release when instead its being said informally. The major issue is not whether its been announced or its understood but whether it will happen at all.
