I agree that calling it a serious problem is an understatement, but just want to have a clearer picture. I think 1.75 to 2.25 trillion (horrendous) is going to be the final number for this calendar year. The 1-year deficit (total) in the approximate final year of Bush was 1.417 trillion dollars.
