I am still hoping for a rally at the open. Only a little more than a half million people, or the entire population of a fairly large city, lost their jobs last month (and are now draining social services). That's bullish, right?

None of these stats count all the small sole proprietor businesses that have very little work. I talk to these people all the time and most are really starving. And these people make up a great deal of the employed in this country. Technically not unemployed but they have no money to spend.
