Thank you.

Mike, based on the assumption that there will be another torrent
of selling in the AM, are you putting in a limit order for ASND,
if if so, what price?

Speaking of limits, do you suppose there's a chance that the DJIA
essentially opens "limit down" tomorrow?

Also, does anyone know what happens if the DJIA is down 250 before some of the component stocks open?

regards, spiny

MB, thought there was an article on the Czech Republic Fund in Forbes or Barron's a while back- I think they were c. 50% cash, and thought that Czechlo. was way overpriced. Personally, I don't mind cash at a discount, but I'm nutty like that. Carl Icahn's American Real Estate Partners should now have something like $9 in cash and its selling right at $10. He's also got something like $6-7 in real estate per share, I think... BUT, you've also got Carl Icahn owning around 80%, and he's pretty shifty. Anyways, a buy? (I already bought, and plan to hold, but it ain't looking good right now). Note the numbers above on ACP are not at all reliable.

Mike, after catching Metz, Wien et al last night on Charlie Rose and after viewing 15 minutes of "Squawk Box" this morning, the consensus seems to be that it's safe to go back into the water, nothing has changed. I would think that the disappearance of a large % of the world's wealth would be significant. I guess nobody really lost money--it was all "marked-to-market"-<g>

BTW, after 1 1/2 years with the same ISP, I couldn't get through last night and then the ISP couldn't get out to the Net. Also couldn't get onto a few sites because they already had "too many users". I don't think I need to buy today...Pete
