Joe, > Abuses of all powerful state will go unreported, unregistered.

It hasn't reached that extreme yet. I've seen the mainstream media do a wonderful job recently reporting on Murtha's pork and the stranglehold the teachers unions have on L.A. Unified School District, for example.

But I have seen way too many cases where the liberal bias in the media has overtly affected what they report and how they report it. I think their jealousy of right-wing media like FOXNews and Rush makes them even more liberally biased.

Chrysler contractually agreed that the the lenders who saved it from sinking earlier will be granted senior rights on thier debt. Debt will be secured, according to contract. They collect 100% before any of the unsecured lenders / claimants get a dime.

So what? Obama was trying to get them to accept less in order to keep Chrysler out of BK. What do you care more about...what's best for the country or what's best for the rich hedge funds? I think you need to get your priorities straight.
