You are missing my point. The spectrum moved just like the island did on Lost. I didnt move it, nor did you or Ted. It happened because of systemic collapse caused by excessive dereg of financial system (eg glass steagal) and a culture of excessive greed on wall street. Obama is picking up the pieces but when you do that you cant put humpty back together again so as in new deal, you reinvent yourself. This is what good capitalist do as well, by the way. We are on the cusp of a new period of prosperity and US will lead the way. (I hope). If not, obama will at least have stabilized things and a smart republican can enter the race next time. But of course the xright supports sarah palin. The system is working JTA. If obama fails and the reps pick palin, a centrist third party candidate will emerge and the pendulum will swing somewhere else.
