What Obama believes is that the force of his own personality and charm will cause our enemies to make nice, especially if he shows he's on their side by castrating his own country. It's all about Obama. I think our two positions are not mutually exclusive ;-) I think behind closed doors, Arab diplomats are saying a big collective "Oh, s---. This Obama, that all our sophisticated friends assured us was soooo intelligent, really believes the stupid rhetoric he fed to the masses. Our friends assured us it was just crap for the stupid, but, look here, he's in office and he's still saying it. We have another Jimmy Carter on our hands! This would be great if we were just fighting Israel, but now we have a dangerous enemy on our hands in Iran - and President of the United States who thinks it's only "fair" that Tehran should have nukes! Ahmed, get me the number for AQ Khan!
