Neither Ford nor GM have any interest in Chrysler's assets. They have made that clear for several years.

(Frankly... with capacity utilization running at around 50% or even less in American auto companies, the best medicine for Ford or GM would be to tear-up a competitor like Chrysler... to disassemble it, take it's product off the market... not revitalize it.)
