I'll bet anyone here that interest rates are going to be a LOT higher by September. Was at the bank today to do final paperwork for a new fixed rate mortgage. Loan officer congratulated me when we met and I asked why. He said I caught THE low for fixed rates and they were rising a full quarter point on Monday. He was expecting them to continue climbing. I also asked him about CRE. He unofficially confirmed it is a rapidly growing problem at this large regional bank, which I already knew.

Gasoline prices are also rising, despite the fact that there is plenty in storage.
