I wish that were true. Durbin has been as complicit as any of them, he voted for TARP, he strongly supported the GSE and AIG bailouts. Yeah, the banks own Clowngress, thanks to people like him and his former junior colleague from Illinois.

Wayne Rogers asked some Clowngressman on Fox why they couldn't simply revoke Gramm-Leach-Bliley and reinstitute Glass-Steagle. The hemming and hawwing that followed was breathtaking......
