an awfully nice trade in there Maybe it's because it isn't tech that DOW just doesn't receive much interest on SI. I managed to pick up a few shares and some leap calls amidst the Rohm and Haas carnage earlier this year and it's been one of my best performing investments ever. In normal times I would never even think of investing in Dow, mainly because it's hard for me to forget they made napalm in the 1960s. But I guess the financial crisis made me swallow my antiwar pride and I just couldn't believe that this old company was going to go under due to a botched acquisition.
