The drop started well before there was much campaigning at all. You always wave you hands about that. "The more they bashed, the lower the DOW moved." Nonsense again. The DOW moved lower because companies were reporting bad earnings. That, and the banks were collapsing. You always like to pretend those things weren't happening, but they were.
