"should join Mankiw at Harvard"

to be sure

The man seems never to have heard of unrestricted credit creation without the requisite income to support it.

What a load of drivel. The financial equivalent of counting the number of angels on the head of a pin.

An article worthy of five minutes on some Fox TV roundtable; "All will be well after we stimulate enough, and ignore any secular shifts."

Like peak oil or wealth heading east?

I could be wrong again of course because that post is harder than the NYT crossword :O) but I think elmat's got it.. was a case of right place, right time.. now the time and place are not so right.. but it can/will happen again where conditions are fertile.. as it always seems to.. Kinda really makes us not masters of the universe..

If I've got it... good, because I tend to think that way.. but now my head really hurts...

Yogi Berra never worried about forks being real or contrived.. He said when you come to one just take it ;o)

Just along for the ride..

AHHAhs thread had a post yesterday about science of global warming; Message 25632883 the piece properly corrects some parts of the record describing how useful contributory content is adapted to the needs of the prevailing momentum.

Krugman for me is that sort of mouthpiece.

Describing a framework or series of rationalizations, as cover, for whatever the policy wonks need, systems 101....

a producer of a wing of an ediface under construction.
a lobbyist for the wing, and all the benefits it will supposedly bring.

his criticism of the austrians....isnt criticism its just summary of scripted opinions borrowed and repeated, sophistry.

kinda like value without valuation....another cover story for derivitives as self interest.

put krugman in the same category as steve liesman, accept krugmans primary medium is newspaper muckraking.

they both work for the same department at the cabal of dissociative persuasion.
