I was under the impression from reading about Crescent point that their large Bakken holdings were quite easy to exploit.. which made them quite attractive..

Canada needs more pipeline infrastructure (or even if the CN rail idea bears fruit.. good).. to eliminate the essentially continental nature of our supplies.. ie.. south..

I find standing next to and leaning against those giant trees on the West coast a rather spiritual experience.. (OK so I'm a bit off ) but we need to be proactive here and secure access to more markets than the US..
Canada really needs to get off its but.. or just pay for those new flags with star 51...

Bonanza production from the Bakken is unlikely, but there is a lot of activity and some smart people working on expanding production.

There's something about it - maybe because it isn't in Texas or California or all the places that have been heavily drilled - that leads me to suspect there is more to the Bakken.
