Cardboard is our biggest recycling headache. We have to haul it. I avoid the boxes Costco gives you if possible. Although I did glom on to quite a few fruit boxes which make good garage storage bins that you can stack.

The only problem with the big Costco bags is it's possible to load them up too heavy to handle easily.
