Barb, I've a short position in AVNT also. I can't believe this stock is being help up. They will get around to that one soon. IMO MFs are holding that one up to make their quarterly report look good. When the redemptions in the tech MFs start (tonight!), I'll bet AVNT is one of the first to go. Might have to wait all the way into next week for that one! Good thing you got YHOO short when you did. Other people couldn't get shares anymore. To be honest, a 500+ point drop in the Dow is a little scary even for me, mostly in defensive positions. When to cover. Hmm, as you might imagine I haven't had to consider than until today. Something to think about..... Don
