The appeal of Starbucks is lost on me.

I have always thought their coffee was strong and bitter. I changed over to grinding my own beans daily from freshly roasted ones that I but at the Costco Roaster. I freeze the one pound bag and make enough for each day. Costs me $11 for a one pound bag of Kauai.

Best coffee I have ever drank.

Next week I will up the stakes by buying a one pound bag of 100% Kona for $21. See if it's worth the difference.

I think the "roasted on site" buy, then freezing and grinding daily, is making the difference.
