Jim, you're a "perfect" example of why the Republican Party has been losing followers. You're in such a tight "ideological box" that you can't even give short shrift to what other people might think. You can't rebuild the Republican Party on "Gays, Guns, Abortion, and Lower Taxes". The demographics are continually moving away from the Republicans and they have to start moving WITH those demographics. I'm BIG on DEFICITS and I'd like to hear some stuff from the Republicans on how they'd start balancing budgets, but ALL I seem to be hearing is we should CUT TAXES. That's ALL the Republicans have been saying for the last 30 years, EXCEPT when Newt was in there. I think Newt's the LAST Republican that could actually look at the BIG picture rather than just the "current" ideology.
