The parts of that I found interesting:

The closing of the offering is expected to take place on or about May 16, 2009

A Saturday? Who closes a stock offering on a Saturday?

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund commercialization of Alferon N and for other research and development and general corporate purposes.

They mention Alferon, the drug so unmarketable they ended up throwing out all their inventory of it for having passed its expiration date, but NOT Ampligen, their "headliner" drug (currently cast as a CFS treatment), which is the one due for review this month.

And the offering price is breached inside of four hours. Good job, nameless institutions!
