RE I am open to other index plays. Any suggestions? Sorry Mark, I do not share your enthusiam for Gold. Do you see what their doing to Australia mines tonight? Down 11% for starters. They'll be giving away metals for food downunder, especially if El Nino continues ruining their crops. As for the XAU, that has to be one of the sickest charts I've ever seen but I'm not great at technicals. :^( Concerning other plays, I intend to stick to my knitting. LIQUIDITY is the key here. No margin. Very little debt. Lot's of short/intermediate US Treasuries. I want to stay focused and not get too cute on trading. Good luck all.
