Actually Cheney was repeating what Powell was pushing at the time. Also that Democrat that was heading up the CIA at the time. Name doesn't come to me now.

Keep ignoring the fact that Democrats were saying the same exact thing and even said it back when Clinton was bombing Saddam for political reasons.
