Even Toyota is having a very tough go of it this year... (but there is no getting away from the long record of really stupid things that - collectively - the American auto industry has done for many years in a row....) However, I am a bit optimistic here.... I am one who thinks that bankruptcy reorganization is exactly the medicine that the industry needs. (And that, because of it, we will still have an industry in the future, and it will be more vital.)
