<Let's see how this works: Asian currency and stock markets have imploded, so Asian imports are going to be even cheaper, killing our jobs and domestic manufacturers, and our exports are not going to be affordable, so there go our profits. American investors in Asian stocks and other instruments are losing their shirts. Meanwhile people tearing their hair out all over Asia, or worse. Are there any winners in the scenario?>

People are making a fortune in this market. Soros, and a plethora of lesser know investors leveraged up on bonds many weeks ago. They are now smiling as they quickly unload thier positions. If you picked your equities carefully, they should have held up nicely in the market, as compared to the year to date performance. Remember, only the media, the index investor and the naive care what the market does, for very few real investors invest in the market. The rest of us invest in individual securites. Notice how well MSFT stood up.

As for the icon on the desktop business, would there be a problem if I licensed Navigator for resale, adn I replaced the animated Nav icon in the upper right hand corner with the animated IE icon (along with a link to the MSFT home page)? Most likely so. MSFT has a very valid point.
