Another Meredith Whitney Reality Bomb...

"Last year the stock market tanked the economy,
this year, the economy will tank the stock market."

BINGO!!!

She also said...

-- stocks are significantly overvalued here.
-- unemployment will be greater than anticipated.
-- consumer spending will be weaker than anticipated.

110% correct on each and every thought.

Take it to the bank.

SOTB

PS: She also slammed the stress test leaks, and said
that if anyone other than Treasury (THE GOVERNMENT)
had leaked the stress test results like they did,
it would be an SEC violation... and someone would be
going to jail.

She called it a "Frost Nixon" moment.

She literally shocked Maria Bartiromo with her honesty.

Maria said something on the order that her comments were
..."stunning."

"Stunningly honest."

A sad commentary on the world today, when "honesty" is stunning.

Sadly, because she has the courage and the integrity to speak
up and tell the truth... they'll probably ultimately try to
attack and destroy her like they did Katherine Austin-Fitts.

Two great ladies there.

If you've got daughters (or, sons for that matter) who want
to go into business, to Wall Steet, or government service,
... there's a couple of role models.

No doubt Meredith Whitney is going to pay a heavy personal,
and professional price for speaking out like this, especially
when the rest of Wall Street is acting like a bunch of white
shoed, plaid pants wearing used car salesmen...

Kudos to Meredith Whitney.
