One year, I took all the pretty baby clothes I had saved from their first couple of years, re-laundred them, starched the little dresses, ironed everything, and wrapped each one, then put in a big box for each grown child....It was a blast when those were opened!!! The wives of the boys loved them too, and the boys never missed a beat from when they were little in saying "Oh, Mom, she gets ALL the clothes".... LOL....she was our only daughter and there were so many cute girl things. The boys got lots too, but most of the things past two years old never made it ...they outgrew them, or beat them to pieces.... A couple of years ago, I made each one a big 6 generation chart starting with themselves as generation one, so they had both their Dad's and my parents, etc down the line. I typed each name and put on a picture by each name if I had one. Then took these charts and had them laminated so they could be framed if they wanted... Normally I wouldn't laminate anything because it actually ruins original copies of things, but in this case, I wanted to have all the "stick-on names and pictures" stay on.... THAT was a big project! But now they can't say ...."who are you talking about"....heheheh Hadn't seen your find on the Irish student and fake quote....I use wiki as a base for clues, and feel the same way about Ancestry...there are way too many mistakes in each for anyone to use them as prime sources. The internet has LOTS of clues, but we should only use those sources as clues and get the certified documents wherever possible. Mom used to say (original quote coming) "If something is worth doing, then its worth doing right".... and in her house, you didn't "not do it"....LOLOL!
