Depends on how you describe "fittest", doesn't it? Are incumbents suitable candidates for digital dominance?

Analysis of success in the digital domain can't be abstracted away from the business environment in which it operates.

By some definitions, P2P and Skype could almost be described as anti-capitalist, anti-corporate and parasitic.

Are they successful, according to the dictates of Digital Darwinism?
